What is Creativity?

Creativity is being able to bring into being the idea of something that did not exist before, either as a product, process of a thought. Creativity can be demonstrated through the means of:
  • Inventing something that did not exist before.
  • Invent something that exists elsewhere but you are not aware of.
  • Invent a new process of doing something.
  • Reapply an existing process or product into a new or different market.
  • Develop a new way of looking at something (bringing a new idea into existence)
  • Change the way someone else looks at something.
People are creative everyday because they are constantly changing the ideas they hold about the world around them. Creativity doesn't have to be about developing or bringing something new to the world, it is more to do about developing something new to their person. Once a person starts to be creative, the world around them automatically changes.
